Laura - OOAK - 20" Porcelain Doll - from Dianna Effner Expressions mold - MAFD
This "hard to find" collectible doll is a one-of-a-kind (OOAK) creation made from the famous “Laura” mold, the original sculpt by renowned doll artist Dianna Effner.
The doll is entirely handmade from “Ultra Chic” porcelain slip by artist Marina-AllforDoll-MAFD, using the “Magnolia White” porcelain tone. Each stage of the process is performed with exceptional care, including meticulous hand-cleaning and professional kiln firing. The eyes are hand-painted using Dianna Effner’s traditional technique, with special kiln-fired China paints, giving the doll a soft, lifelike expression. The doll bears the artist’s personal signature and the date of creation.
She measures approximately 20 inches tall. Head, plate, arms 3/4, legs 5/6 - porcelain + cloth body. The doll is brand new, created in April 2026. She does not have a specific name, so you are welcome to choose any name you like and write it on the top line of the Certificate of Authenticity (COA). The doll is dressed in a charming vintage-style outfit. She comes exactly as pictured with COA, a woven basket but without a stand. Her wig was created by the company Expressions specifically for her; it is even named "Laura."
